♥ Your Grandma Knew Fashion Trends Before They Were Born ♥
Yes, I've got this vintage basket from my grandma five years ago, when I was a slightly creepy teenager. My mum said "No, seriously? Do you like it? Come on, stop kidding yourself!" haha.
And now an American flag is everywhere, and my old basket makes me look like a fashion victim,
and my mum wants to kidnap it, can you belive? ;) By the way, don't you dream about your grandma's closet sometimes?! "Oh granny, you look so pretty... if you ever get bored of this coat, you know where to find me, yes?" haha ♥
I wear: H&M top, Romwe collar, Papaya skirt and Fiore Collection shoes

Oh my, that is surely one of the sweetest tops I've seen around. The collar is darling! I have so many of my grandmothers' old things and they are some of my favorites...I do agree, grandmas are way ahead of their time:) That purse is such a lovely piece.

I always went through my grandmother's clothes and accessories as a teenager and an adult. She was always so stylish. Can't say I would've been thrilled to carry around an american flag tote back in highschool, but its cool now, so why not? I love the outfit you paired with it.
ReplyDeleteyou look beautiful! loving the scalloped collar! i used to think my mother's style was so uncool but now every time i visit we go through her closet so i can pick out some goodies!
ReplyDeleteI used to get lost in my grandma's closet. I wanted everything and would ask her for it. She would always respond, "You can have it when I die." She was my same size, short and petite. I have her aprons and other things. I think you are so lucky that you still have a grandma and that she collects things for you. Thanks for bringing back happy memories.
ReplyDeleteNow I wonder where my grandma's clothes are... Hahaha.

Oh I know that feeling! My grandma has recently moved out of her apartment and now I am moving in. As she will stay in a prefurnished apartment from now on, I am able to go through her things with her and maybe keep a couple!! also am allowed to keep the furniture. It's vintage heaven and I can't wait to finish moving in!!

O jaa. Pozdrawiam
ReplyDeleteLove this look!

I know, lots of old ladies have great style. There were some great designers out there in the past, everyone forgets, and lots of ladies sewed and made their own clothes. I am trying to learn to sew, should have more time after university breaks for the year. Maybe then I will learn.
ReplyDeleteAdvanced style is a blog on blogspot with great style of old ladies. check it out.
Also if you have the time, come and visit my blog, it's only new, but I'd love for you to see it. I've mentioned you in a post of cool bloggers. :)

oh your hair is usually amazing, but it looks especially amazing in these pictures! I have raided my nanas closet before and found some amazing items.... but then there are the disastrous ones from the 70's that mainly consist of metallic pant suits and sequined fish tailed ball gowns... hmm. xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou sure are the most darling thing I've seen lately in the blogosphere. You look different than the most bloggers and that's what I absolutely adore about you. I just scrolled through your whole blog and I've fallen more and more in love with it with every outfit that I see. And your hair is so gorgeous! Oh I can't wait till I can do something similar with my hair
