Oh, I just finished watching a documentary about Janis Joplin, and it puts me in such a maudlin mood. Her life has treated her so unfairly, it was painful and cut way too short by drugs and alcohol.
I adore her unique voice, and her cheerful melodies cleverly combined with disturbing lyrics. I think she's my favourite singer of all times, and I had a real problem with choosing only one song to this post, so I grabbed a random CD from the pile, and picked a random song with my eyes closed :D
But if anyone's interested in some pretty music, I think I like the most:

Apologize to all the girls named Marlenka, who heard these calls too, but I was more desperate than you to get this item, haha :D And I'm sorry all the enthusiasts of colorful, creative outfits, but this blouse is so lovely, that doesn't need much more than a pair of dark blue jeans and a pair of high heels, in my opinion :)

Oh yeah, you know those vintage shirts from the 60's / 70's, maybe 80's. It's hard to overlook them when you poke around in thrift stores, they're so unique, beautiful in their own ways, and have this mysterious, nostalgic value. When I see one of them, I always held out my trembling hand, with a heart filled of hope, and POOF! 100% polyester - the spell is gone. Why are they always made of that horrible fabric? I don't know, but when I saw this shirt with its amazing colors and a contrast collar, and with a trembling heart I checked the description - it's cotton - I knew it had to be in my closet ♥

Well, this was a post about insomnia, when I started writing it last night. But something has thwarted my plans - I fell asleep unexpectedly, and slept for nearly  f o u r t e e n  hours. Yes, fourteen.
So does writing about insomnia make sense yet? And what you think - maybe I should start writing about my thin wallet next time? (woohoo! good golly, miss molly!)
